May the 8th Pickerel aka Walleye fishing opens today. The weather is miserable, there are areas that have had some of that white stuff. Winds are wicked, rain a perfect day for fishing! Not many boats out on the bay (so far only 1).

Even though it's still early in the season things are starting to take shape fast. There are anglers on McGregor Bay. My docks are starting to fill up with boats and anglers rushing the season rushing the season. Must be good fishing out there. Yes I have boats ready for rent, so come on down.

If you need servicing on your motor or boat better get it in soon! It is a good idea and cheep insurance to have your motor and boat looked at before the season starts heaven only knows what the long winter storage has done to your pride and joy. Four stroke and oil injected motors are the ones that usually need a little more tender love and care than the old reliable 2 strokers.

Spring feaver

Spring is officially here BUT!

The ice is just about out of the bay but there is still a few more days before it is all out. First order of business will is to set the docks into position. The ground is still too soft to start moving the boats that are in storage. When conditions allow we will start to service and clean the first boats.

Remember if your motor or boat need servicing, the first ones in will be looked at first. Avoid delays bring your boat in for spring servicing now.
